Ferris Wheel 2007 325cm×280cm×183cm 鉄、FRP、ネオン、モーター、他 1997年、ヤノベケンジを導いたともいうべきチェルノブイリ・プリピェチ市の廃墟と化した遊園地にて、《アトムスーツ》が見た観覧車がモチーフとなっている。中央には再生のシンボル“太陽”が掲げられ、錆びつき停止した観覧車を再び蘇らせる願いが込められている。 Ferris Wheel 2007 325cm×280cm×183cm steel, FRP, neon, motor, others The motif in this work derives from the Ferris wheel seen in the Atom Suit Project in 1997, in Pripyat near Chernobyl, at the ruins of the amusement park that seems to have guided Yanobe on his journey.
