ビバ・リバ・プロジェクト - ニューデメ - 2002 505cm×368cm×300cm アルミニウム、真鍮、モーター、他 「未来の廃墟」から立ち上がった再生（リバイバル）のモニュメント。1970年の大阪万博の跡地に打ち捨てられていたロボットがモチーフとなって生まれた作品。相撲力士のように立ちはだかる「デメ」は、「スタンダ」が立ち上がるのと連動して、役目を終えるかのように突っ伏して、熱せられた顔面を水に浸す。その「デメ」が背負うのは、地上100メートルのEXPOタワーキャビン内に自生していたコケと、ウラン鉱石。 Viva Riva Project - New Deme- 2002 505cm×368cm×300cm aluminum, brass, motor, others This monument to revival has a figure standing in "The Ruins of the Future". NEW DEME carries on its back uranium ore and moss that grew naturally in the cabin of the Expo Tower 100 meters above the ground.
